Voice

Open any conversation and click the microphone icon. Grant browser microphone permissions when prompted. Speak naturally and wait for your character to respond.

Choose from 6 built-in voices (alloy, echo, fable, nova, onyx, shimmer) or create a custom voice clone (Pro+ plans). Set the voice in your character's settings.

Check that your browser has microphone permission (look for the camera/mic icon in the URL bar). Try refreshing the page. Make sure no other app is using the microphone. Chrome and Firefox work best.

Voice quality depends on your internet connection. Use a stable connection. If using a custom voice, ensure the original sample was high-quality (clear audio, minimal background noise, at least 30 seconds).

Go to your character's settings → Voice → Clone Voice. Upload a clear audio sample of at least 30 seconds (longer is better). Supported formats: MP3, WAV, OGG, WEBM. Processing takes a few minutes.

Plus: 60 minutes/month, Pro and Creator: unlimited. Free plan doesn't include voice. Minutes reset at the start of each billing cycle.

Yes, voice works in mobile browsers. Make sure you grant microphone permission when prompted. For best results, use headphones to avoid echo.

Voice in rooms is currently in development. For now, voice conversations are one-on-one between you and a character.
